About the Author: Marianne Wakim BA(Hons), DipEd (Sec), MEd is a leading VCE English teacher, previous head of English and head of Humanities, Antonine College. Marianne is a passionate and experienced teacher who has over 15 years extensive experience in preparing students for the VCE English exam. Dedicated to using worked samples to scaffold students' learning and support their skill acquisition, Marianne's pedagogy has focused on presenting worked samples that demonstrate the steps required to complete analytical writing tasks.
