SECTION C OF THE VCE EAL EXAM – Argument and persuasive language

For the purposes of these tasks, the term ‘language’ refers to written, spoken and visual language.

The response will be assessed according to these criteria:

• analysis of the use of argument and language to try to persuade

• control of the mechanics of the English language to convey meaning
